The big goodbye this week is "The Vampire Diaries," the longest-running show shot in metro Atlanta going back to 2009.
The drama - which began during the height of "Twilight"-mania - brought the largest debut in CW's early history and was a top show on the network for years, leading to a spinoff "The Originals." This Friday, the show in its eighth season comes to an end with a big flourish and the return of original cast member Nina Dobrev.
Otherwise, it's mostly old shows returning, including "Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" Monday (season six on VH1), "The Americans" on Tuesday (season four on FX), "Survivor" on Wednesday (season 34 on CBS), "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders Wednesday (season two on CBS), "Hand of God" Friday (season two on Amazon Prime), "American Crime" Sunday (second season on ABC) and "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" Sunday (season 13 on E!).
