The Olympics are over but TV programming rolls on.
The one time MTV focuses on music with its Video Music Awards Sunday will honor Rihanna with a lifetime achievement award. For perspective, she's 28. MTV itself is 34 years old.
FX brings back "The Strain" for a third season the same night. The most notable debut is TLC's first attempt at scripted fare on Monday "Tyler Perry's Too Close to Home."
In the meantime, AMC offers up season three of "Halt & Catch Fire" on Tuesday (which is shot in Atlanta) and USA returns with the back half of season four of "Chrisley Knows Best," also shot in Atlanta.
ABC honors 20 years of "The View"on Tuesday as well. We'll see how the network handles all the controversial comings and goings, including that ill-fated brief time with Rosie O'Donnell.
Former Atlantan RuPaul debuts his all-star "Drag Race" edition on Logo Thursday while Alpharetta's Jeff Foxworthy has a comedy special on Netflix Friday.

MONDAY
"America Ninja Warrior" 8 p.m. NBC — Philadelphia finals.
"Bachelor in Paradise" 8 p.m. ABC — A frustrated bachelor continues to deal with the emotional breakdown of his crying ex who is unable to move on from him.
"Rizzoli & Isles" 9 p.m. TNT — A mortician's body is found in a casket at his own funeral home, leading the team to a serial killer.
"Tyler Perry's Too Close to Home" 9 p.m. TLC (new series) — A woman who's on the fast track to success in Washington, D.C.'s political arena retreats to safety after her potentially career-destroying secret is revealed.
"Major Crimes" 10 p.m. TNT — A jogger takes a fall down the steps of the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, leading the team to zero in on a divorce attorney with plenty of irate clients.
"Mistresses" 10:01 p.m. ABC — Marc focuses on his music and bonds with Sofia.
TUESDAY
"America's Got Talent" 8 p.m. NBC — Third live show.
"Pretty Little Liars" 8 p.m. Freeform — One of the ladies goes rogue to find proof that Noel Kahn is Uber.
"Bachelor in Paradise" 8 p.m. ABC — A bachelor ends his relationship with a fickle bachelorette and leaves Paradise; a popular couple return to Paradise and deliver a date card that stirs up drama for two couples.
"Cake Boss" 9 p.m. TLC (eighth season debut) — Buddy and the team make a pirate-theme cake, and a new branch of the bakery prepares to open its doors in Connecticut.
"Halt and Catch Fire" 9 p.m. AMC (third season debut) — Donna and Cameron explore their options to expand beyond chat.
"The Have and the Have Nots" 9 p.m. OWN — The police hunt a fugitive who has close ties to Katheryn.
" Zoo" 9 p.m. CBS — It's a race for Mitch and Abraham to find Jackson before General Davies and the International Animal Defense Group can locate him and prevent the team from making a cure.
"The View: 20 Years in the Making " 10 p.m. ABC — A look back at the history of TV's "The View," with behind-the-scenes stories, favorite memories from celebrity fans, top moments and appearances by cohosts from years past. Host: Barbara Walters.
