A handful of older shows come back this week after the flood was unleashed last week.

On Monday, it's ABC's "Castle" and CBS's "NCIS: Los Angeles;" on Wednesday, it's CBS's '"Criminal Minds;" on Thursday, it's the CWs' "The Vampire Diaries;" on Friday, it's ABC's "Last Man Standing" and on Sunday, it's ABC's 'America's Funniest Home Videos."

A couple of major cable shows are done for the year, including two FX shows "The Bridge" on Wednesday and "The Strain" on Sunday. The biggest return? Showtime's fourth season of "Homeland" Sunday.

And gingerly, networks are introducing (mostly lesser) new shows such as ABC's 'Selfie" Tuesday, CBS's "Stalker" Wednesday, NBC's 'Bad Judge" and Fox's 'Gracepoint" Thursday; and Fox's "Mulaney" Sunday.

MONDAY

"The Big Bang Theory" 8 p.m. CBS  — A nervous Wolowitz is thrown for a loop when NASA asks him to toss out the first pitch at a Los Angeles Angels baseball game.

"Dancing With the Stars " 8 p.m. ABC It's movie night and Lea Thompson will bring us "Back to the Future."

"Gotham " 8 p.m. Fox A child-trafficking ring is investigated, and one of the victims is Selina Kyle.

"The Voice " 8 p.m. NBC Atlanta's Jason David Carter last week made an impression.

"Scorpion " 9 p.m. CBS —  The governor calls on Team Scorpion when his daughter is mysteriously "bio-hacked" with a deadly virus.

"Sleepy Hollow " 9 p.m. Fox — Ichabod and Abbie hatch a desperate plan to rescue Katrina.

"Atlanta Exes " 9:30 p.m. VH1 (first season finale) — Tameka presides over a 5K race in honor of her late son.

"The Blacklist " 10 p.m. NBC — Red aims to take down a corrupt bank.

" Castle " 10 p.m. ABC (seventh season debut) — Beckett embarks on her hardest case as she waits at the scene of Castle's accident and learns details about the car crash.

" NCIS: Los Angeles " 10 p.m. CBS (sixth season debut) — Callen and Sam are  trapped in an armed submarine that terrorists aim at an aircraft carrier in San Diego.

TUESDAY

"Selfie" 8 p.m. ABC (new series) — A modern take on "My Fair Lady." It's more terrible than funny.

"NCIS" 8 p.m. CBS — A Navy lieutenant is murdered on his way to a private meeting with the President.

"The Voice" 8 p.m. NBC — More blind auditions.

"Manhattan Love Story" 8:30 p.m. ABC (new series) — A New York City native is set up with a small-town woman.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." 9 p.m. ABC — Coulson makes a desperate move to save his team as multiple enemies close in.

"NCIS: New Orleans " 9 p.m. CBS — A Navy lieutenant on liberty dies from the bubonic plague.

"Chicago Fire " 10 p.m. NBC — A distraught Severide returns to Firehouse 51.

"Forever " 10 p.m. ABC — Henry and Jo investigate a series of deaths that were caused by an expensive anti-aging potion.

"Person of Interest " 10 p.m. CBS  — Finch's resolve to avoid dealing with new numbers is tested.

"Sons of Anarchy " 10 p.m. FX — an old favor causes trouble with an ally.

WEDNESDAY

"The Mysteries of Laura" 8 p.m. NBC — A popular biker-bar owner is killed, and the case takes Laura and Jake to a memorable location: the place where they had their first date.

"Hell's Kitchen" 8 p.m. Fox The chefs compete in a test that involves identifying proteins and matching them to dishes.

"The Middle" 8 p.m. ABC Frankie and Mike search for second jobs so they can afford to send Sue to a good college.

"Survivor" 8 p.m. CBS John Rocker tries to stay incognito but at least two people know who he is.

"Law & Order: SVU" 9 p.m. NBC — A pro basketball player is accused of rape.

"Modern Family" 9 p.m. ABC — Jay and Gloria's anniversary creates a dilemma when they can't decide what kind of gifts to give/.

"Red Band Society" 9 p.m. Fox — Jordi has a surprise visitor from his past who shakes up the status quo at the hospital.

"Criminal Minds" 9 p.m. CBS (10th season debut) — The BAU team investigates a series of murders in Bakersfield, Cal., in which the victims are unidentifiable.

"Black-ish" 9:31 p.m. ABC — Dre insists on giving Andre Jr. "the talk."

" Franklin & Bash" 10 p.m. TNT Anita team up to ensure a scientist doesn't lose an important grant.

"Bones" 8 p.m. Fox — Agent Aubrey helps the team with their quest to dig into a government conspiracy that goes back decades

"The Biggest Loser" 8 p.m. NBC — A lottery challenge takes place, in which one contestant is selected to go home with a trainer for the week.

"Grey's Anatomy" 8 p.m. ABC — Maggie tries to prove her worth and befriend others at the hospital.

"The Vampire Diaries" 8 p.m. the CW (sixth season debut) — Elena returns to Whitmore College for the start of sophomore year.

"Bad Judge" 9 p.m. CBS (new series) — Sitcom about a tough criminal-court judge in Los Angeles played by Kate Walsh.

"Gracepoint" 9 p.m. Fox (new series) — A detective who has been overlooked for the police-chief position finds herself teamed on the case with her testy new boss.

"Project Runway" 9 p.m. Lifetime — Christian Siriano is the guest judge.

"A to Z" 9 p.m. NBC (new series) — Idealistic online matchmaker Andrew falls for no-nonsense lawyer Zelda.

"Scandal" 9 p.m. ABC  — Mellie deals with her private strife, she garners the nation's attention.

"Dead Again " 10 p.m. A&E (new series) — This series follows a top team of detectives who will re-examine controversial murder cases in which unresolved questions still linger long after the verdict was determined.
