While the drumbeat of bad news about the COVID-19 pandemic continues unabated, TV continues to pump out plenty of new episodes. (They aren’t going to run quite that quickly.)

On Tuesday, Pop’s beloved comedy “Schitt’s Creek,” infused with more popularity courtesy of its presence on Netflix, concludes after six seasons.

ABC’s popular sitcom “Modern Family” finished shooting its 11th and final season before Hollywood was shut down and gets a deserved 8 p.m. special Wednesday followed by an hour-long farewell at 9 p.m.

After that ends, ABC embraces nostalgia with a return of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," a game-show phenomenon when it debuted in 1998 with Regis Philbin as host. At 88, Philbin has ceded the hosting gig to Jimmy Kimmel.

TBS's "The Last O.G" starring Tracey Morgan and Tiffany Haddish also returns Wednesday and so does CBS's lauded "The Good Fight" on its streaming service.

A couple of shows end their seasons early because production got cut off last month: Fox’s “The Resident” Monday and “Grey’s Anatomy” Thursday.

Music fans should check A&E Sunday for a bio about Dolly Parton and a concert celebrating Willie Nelson.

This covers Monday, April 6 through Sunday, April 12, 2020.
