TV best bets with LBJ, Megyn Kelly, Lucille Ball, series finales of 'Castle,' 'Banshee,' 'Mike & Molly'

It was a rough week for cancelled shows.

Most notably, fans of "Castle" will see the final new episode ever Monday night after ABC cut the show last week in what was considered a very close call.

Other shows that are going away forever: CBS's "Mike & Molly" the same night and Cinemax's "Banshee" on Friday, as well as GPB's "Mr. Selfridge" on Sunday.

Other shows that are ending their runs this season for good include CBS's "CSI: Cyber" (effectively ending the "CSI" series), ABC's "Nashville" (four seasons), ABC's "Agent Carter" (one season), ABC's "The Muppets" (one season), ABC's "Galavant" (two seasons), NBC's "Mysteries of Laura" (two seasons), NBC's "Heartbeat" (one season), NBC's "Telenovela" (one season), NBC's "Game of Silence" (one season), Fox's "The Grinder" and "Grandfathered" (both, one season) and the CW's "Containment" (one season).

This week is packed with season finales of returning shows including A&E's "Bates Motel" Monday (fourth season), CBS's "NCIS" Tuesday (13th season), CBS's 'Survivor" (32nd season) and ABC's "Modern Family" (seventh season) Wednesday, ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" (12th season) and NBC's "The Blacklist" (third season) Thursday, ABC's 'Shark Tank" (seventh season) Friday, NBC's "Saturday Night Live" (41st season) Saturday and Fox's "The Simpsons (27th season) Sunday.

The networks are also trying out some specials, including Fox News' anchor Megyn Kelly getting her own Barbara Walters-type interview special on the main Fox network Tuesday, CBS bringing back "I Love Lucy" on Friday and ABC bringing out the Billboard Music Awards Sunday.

And HBO is giving Lyndon B Johnson (played by Bryan Cranston) some love in its Saturday film "All the Way."

This covers Monday, May 16 through Sunday, May 22, 2016.

MONDAY

"Dancing With the Stars" 8 p.m. ABC — Very difficult to call this one at this point in the competition.

"The Voice" 8 p.m. NBC — Nick Hagelin of Atlanta was cut last week.

"Gotham" 8 p.m. Fox — Hugo Strange resurrects Fish Mooney; and Bruce teams up with Gordon, Alfred and Lucius after learning that a friend is in danger.

"Mike & Molly" 8:30 p.m. CBS (series finale) — The Flynn and the Biggs families recall what has brought them to the present point in time, which results in one last confrontation between Joyce and Peggy.

"Jane the Virgin" 8:59 p.m. the CW (second season finale) — Jane's wedding plans become chaotic after the date is moved up.

"Bates Motel" 9 p.m. A&E (fourth season finale) — The relationship between Norman and Norma faces its toughest test.

"Wicked Tuna" 9 p.m. NGC (fifth season finale) — The race comes down to one final catch during the last week of the season.

"Person of Interest" 9:59 p.m. CBS — Shaw manages to escape her captors, but the team worries about her mental state when she begins acting paranoid and reckless.

"Blindspot" 10:01 p.m. NBC — An abandoned baby is found, and it has a tattoo matching one of Jane's.

"Castle" 10:01 p.m. ABC (series finale) — Lives are endangered unexpectedly when Castle and Beckett prepare to take on LokSat.

TUESDAY

"Megyn Kelly Presents" 8 p.m. Fox — The Fox News host talks to Donald Trump; actor Michael Douglas; actress Laverne Cox; and attorney Robert Shapiro.

" Fresh Off the Boat" 8 p.m. ABC (second season finale) — Emery asks Louis to help write his graduation speech; and Eddie's girlfriend tries to impress Jessica.

" NCIS" 8 p.m. CBS (13th season finale)  — NCIS, the FBI and MI6 engage in an international manhunt for an escaped British spy who is targeting current and former agents.

"The Voice" 8 p.m. NBC — Alicia Keys and OneRepublic guest.

" Chicago Med" 9 p.m. NBC (first season finale)  — Dr. Rhodes treats his mentor and Goodman faces personal issues.

" Coupled" 9 p.m. Fox (new series) — Twelve women begin their search for love by meeting face-to-face with a series of men and instantly deciding if they have enough chemistry to begin dating.

"Containment " 9 p.m. the CW — Plans for a food drop in the cordon lead to a disagreement between Lex and Dr. Lommers. The CW is not renewing this Atlanta-based show for a second season.

"NCIS: New Orleans " 9 p.m. CBS (second season finale) —The team exposes a spy and massive security breach while partnering with Homeland Security on a mission to locate 900 pounds of missing explosives.

" Chicago Fire" 10 p.m. NBC (fourth season finale) — Boden and Jimmy are at odds.

" Person of Interest" 10 p.m.— Reese protects an NYPD analyst who's drawn the attention of Samaritan through his investigation of a software glitch.

WEDNESDAY

"Rosewood" 8 p.m. Fox — Rosewood's former girlfriend turns his world upside down.

"The Middle " 8 p.m. ABC (seventh season finale) Frankie's determined to ensure Brick can sing at his middle-school graduation after his performance is cut.

"Survivor " 8 p.m. CBS (two hour 32nd season finale) Douglasville's Cydney Gillon is battling three others for the $1 million.

"The Goldbergs " 8:30 p.m. ABC (third season finale) Adam and his soon-to-be freshman pals live in fear of the hazing they expect to get from the senior class.

"Empire " 9 p.m. Fox (second season finale) — A life-changing experience leads Jamal to put the breaks on his music career.

"Genius by Stephen Hawking " 9 p.m. GPB (new series) — First topic: time travel.

"Law & Order: SVU " 9 p.m. NBC —  Female prison inmates make accusations of sexual assault against a corrections officer.

"Modern Family " 9 p.m. ABC (seventh season finale) — Claire needs to fire an employee but has a hard time finding the right moment to do it.

"Black-ish " 9:30 p.m. Fox (second season finale) — Dre falls asleep while watching a "Good Times" marathon and has a dream that his family transforms into the characters from the '70s television show.

"The Americans " 10 p.m. FX — A discretion from Paige's past resurfaces and threatens to destroy the family.

"Nashville " 10 p.m. ABC — Elton John performs with Gunnar in a show that won't return for a fifth season.

"Royal Pains " 10 p.m. USA (eighth season debut) — Divya's future hits a roadblock.

THURSDAY

"Bones" 8 p.m. Fox — A body found in a rat lab at Lynwood University turns out to be the head of a male a cappella group.

"Grey's Anatomy " 8 p.m. ABC (12th season finale) — An important day arrives for Amelia.

"The Blacklist" 9 p.m. NBC (third season finale) — A stunning betrayal leaves Red and the task force scrambling to save one of their own.

"Braxton Family Values" 9 p.m. WE (fifth season debut) — Evelyn suffers a stroke, leading the sisters to fight about their mother. Later, Traci has a health scare of her own.

"The Catch" 9 p.m. ABC (two-hour first season finale) —  A surprise occurs at the Kensington Firm when its matriarch visits unexpectedly in the first half of this combined episode.

"Mom" 9:01 p.m. CBS (third season finale) — Hard reality upends Christy's dream of becoming a lawyer when she realizes how much the education will cost.

" Match Made in Heaven" 10 p.m. WE-TV (second season debut) — Former NFL player and Atlantan Stevie Baggs tries to bag himself a wife.

"Lady Dynamite" 3:01 a.m. Netflix (new series)— Loosely based on comic Maria Bamford's life.

"New 'I Love Lucy' Superstar Special" 8 p.m CBS Two classic episodes of "I Love Lucy" are shown, colorized with a vintage look, to tell a continuous story involving John Wayne.

"Grimm" 8 p.m NBC (two-hour fifth season finale) Black Claw makes a strategic move against Hank that shocks everyone.

"Masters of Illusion" 8 p.m the CW (second season debut) Magic performed by cutting-edge illusionists, escape artists and magicians

"The  Originals" 8 p.m the CW (third season finale) Klaus is being put on trial for centuries of atrocities he's committed.

"Shark Tank " 9 p.m. ABC (seventh season finale) A Shark's temper is lost after an entrepreneur refuses an offer "for personal reasons.

"Undercover Boss " 9 p.m. CBS United Real Estate Group CEO Dan Duffy works undercover at his real estate services and franchise holding company.

"Banshee " 10 p.m. Cinemax (series finale) Lucas decides to leave Banshee, but discovers the murder case he believed closed may be reopened.

WEEKEND

"All the Way" 8 tonight HBO Bryan Cranston places Lyndon B. Johnson.

"Saturday Night Live" 11:29 tonight SNL (41st season finale) Fred Armisen hosts.

"Fear the Walking Dead" 9 p.m. Sunday AMC (second season spring finale) — The family faces their greatest test yet. Meanwhile, Nick, Madison, Travis and others go to great lengths to keep each other close.

"Game of Thrones" 9 p.m. Sunday HBO — Tyrion seeks a strange ally.

"Undercover Boss" 9 p.m. Sunday CBS (100th episode) — Amazing this show can still fool people 100 episodes in!

"Preacher " 10 p.m. Sunday AMC (new series) — Jesse struggles to escape a past that is slowly catching up to him.

"Penny Dreadful " 10 p.m. Sunday Showtime — Vanessa convinces Dr. Seward to use hypnosis to take her back in time.

"Mr. Selfridge " 10:30 p.m. Sunday GPB (series finale) — As the store's 20th anniversary sale approaches, the press links Harry to Jimmy's demise.
