USA Today reports that Atlanta's Hines Ward, who won 'Dancing With the Stars" last year, is going to be a football analyst for NBC sports.

“I’m still more recognizable as a dancer,” Hines said in an interview Thursday with USA Today. “Even from guys who you’d think would know football. It’s done wonders for me. It gave me more exposure than being Super Bowl MVP (in 2006). It’s life-changing.” (He wasn’t available for comment today with us.)

NBC gave him a test run earlier this year during the Super Bowl, where he impressed the NBC executives.

He recently retired from the Pittsburgh Steelers after 14 seasons. He was also a University of Georgia Bulldog in the 1990s.
