Atlanta-based 'Lauren Lake's Paternity Court' gets two more years

The syndicated judge show "Lauren Lake's Paternity Court," shot in Midtown the past two seasons, has been guaranteed two more seasons, including Atlanta's CW69.
The show - which is cleared in 85 percent of the country - debuted in 2013, shot in Los Angeles. It moved to Atlanta for season two in 2014.
Lake, who lived in Atlanta in the late 1990s, shoots her show for several months a year out of the Georgia Public Broadcasting building. It airs locally at 1 p.m. weekdays on the CW. It focuses on paternity cases but includes Lake's combination of tough love and empathetic counseling approach.
In November, the show hit a series high of a 1.43 national rating among homes, and improved over its year-ago ratings with women 25 to 54 by 12 percent. Ratings in Atlanta have gone up 11 percent year over year.
Each Friday, beginning on February 5, the show brings back its favorite gusts from the past three seasons, providing updates on how life has changed since they appeared on the show.
