Katy Perry's salary for "American Idol" next year was leaked to TMZ: $25 million!

And she isn't denying it. She is embracing it. She told 103.5 KTU's radio host Carolina Bermudez : "I'm really proud that, as a woman, I got paid. And you know why? I got paid like more than like pretty much any guy that's been on that show. And, by the way, I love men. So I'm a paid woman and I'm ready for a beautiful man."

That is more than the $15 million Ryan Seacrest and Jennifer Lopez was reportedly getting paid during the last season of "Idol" on Fox.

ABC has yet to announce other judges for the 2018 reboot and are still in talks with Seacrest to host.

Adam Lambert, who had the most votes last week in my poll of judges you'd like to see on "Idol," is open to joining the cast.

"I would judge in a heartbeat. If it fit with my schedule," he told E!.

Katharine McPhee is going to star in a new Lifetime movie "The Lost Wife of Robert Durst" while on break from her role on "Scorpion," which returns for season four this fall on CBS.

The movie centers on the wife of Robert Durst, subject of HBO's documentary The Jinx. Young and wide-eyed, Kathie (McPhee) falls in love with charming yet quirky real estate scion Robert Durst (Gillies), only to find their marriage turning stranger, darker and more disturbing as time passes. When Kathie vanishes in 1982, her family and friends are deeply disturbed that her disappearance isn't taken seriously by police.

Paula Abdul is now on tour with Boyz II Men and New Kids on the Block. This is her first tour since before she was "Idol."

The Tulsa World included this quick graf in their review: "Perhaps the most thrilling aspect of Abdul's performance was her quick costume changes and poppy choreography. The 54-year-old entertainer didn't miss a beat, keeping up with the pack of her youthful back-up dancers. She was also sure to give the crowd performances of her greatest hits including "Straight Up," "Rush, Rush" and "Cold Hearted." "

The Austin American Statesman: "Abdul, tacky and sweet in all the right measures — executed her dance moves with staggering precision. The rambling story about Gene Kelly that heralded the triumphant second coming of MC Skat Kat was just the glitter on the leotard."
