'American Idol' bits: Kelly Clarkson pregnant again, Adam Lambert, Jennifer Hudson

Kelly Clarkson, 32, is pregnant again with her second child. She inadvertently blurted the news out at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Wednesday night.
"That was unplanned," she told the audience. "I'm honestly so hormonal today."
She is married to Brandon Blackstock.
She cried during the song "Piece by Piece," according to USA Today.
She gave birth to her first daughter River Rose 14 months ago.

Simon Cowell's "The X Factor" is still a big hit in the U.K. The U.S. version died a couple of years ago after three seasons. Season one host Steve Jones was one of the worst hosts I've ever seen. He was stiff, robotic and incapable of riffing or keeping the judges in line. Jones claimed recently he wasn't bitter (and he met his wife stateside) but he still noted he was left "high and dry" by Cowell after the fact.

Jennifer Hudson chopped off her hair recently, inspired by Grace Jones. She did so for her role on "The Color Purple' on Broadway.

Billboard talks to Adam Lambert about his look. He has scaled back the makeup recently.
"I've put down a lot of the makeup. I put the flat iron in the attic. I'm looking at people like Elvis and James Dean," says the Indianapolis native of his new look.
