Radio stations are increasingly relying on big events for extra income.

V-103 has added a "Pop Up Live" concert at Philips Arena featuring Rick Ross, Big Boi, T.I., Meek Mill and Plies on March 25. Combined, the five artists have compiled more than 75 top 10 Billboard magazine rap hits over the past two decades. Ticket prices range from $43 to $143 before fees with tickets going on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 1 at Ticketmaster. Based on the phrase, this may not necessarily be an annual event. The station also promises surprise guests.

The concert comes three months after the station held its second Winterfest concert, which featured Lil Wayne, Jeezy, 2Chainz, Young Thug and The Dream. That was a lead up to Christmas. Surprise appearances were made by Usher and Wale. (Check out photos from the concert here.)

V-103 also hosts a huge Car & Bike Show in the summer at the Georgia World Congress Center, which also features several major hip-hop acts.
