The 12th annual V103 and WAOK Car and Bike Show drew 30,000 fans who ogled more than 250 cars and bikes, both classic and tricked out, while the likes of Ne-Yo, 2Chainz and Monica entertained the crowd.

All the major personalities were there, from Greg Street (who came up with the idea) to Wanda Smith. The cast of "Straight Outta Compton," including Ice Cube showed up. And Tyler Perry was in the house. Okay, it was really Perry's cutout Madea figure that was there, but I'm sure he was there in spirit.

Brian Dennis was selling something called a Glidr with no "e." It's basically a Segway minus the upper body support. There were three types, from $850 to $1,250. He said as of 8 p.m., he had sold 20, well worth the cost of being a vendor. CREDIT: Rodney Ho/ rho@ajc.com

Last year, at about 8 p.m., ten people were hurt with minor injuries when some fighting caused people to leave at the Georgia World Congress Center in a hurry. Some fell and were trampled. Rick Caffey, who runs V-103, this year made a rare plea on air to ensure people comport themselves. And while I was there, they were. I left at about 8 p.m. and everything was calm. I heard it was incident free.
