The would-be second lady of the United States will campaign in Atlanta on Wednesday.

Anne Holton, the wife of Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine, will greet volunteers at the Hillary Clinton campaign office and then take part in a phone banking event.

Holton, a former Virginia secretary of education, will focus on Clinton's record of working to expand opportunities for women. The phone banking event, to be held at 5 p.m. at Amelie's French Bakery on Marietta Street, will feature women calling female voters.

The visit comes just a few days before her husband is in town for a fundraiser on Sunday. Kaine will be joined by actors Melissa McCarthy (famous for the recent "Ghostbusters" remake, "Spy" and "The Heat") and her husband, Ben Falcone, at the private event.
