T exas Sen. Ted Cruz is set to make a campaign stop in Atlanta Saturday, days ahead of Georgia's March 1 primary.

The Republican will hold an 11 a.m. rally on Saturday at Liberty Plaza, the park across the street from the Georgia Capitol. Expect former Rep. Jack Kingston, who endorsed Cruz last week, to introduce him to the crowd.

You can find the details here.

Cruz is locked in a battle with frontrunner Donald Trump, who held a downtown Atlanta rally on Sunday, for support in Georgia and the sweep of other Southern states voting in the so-called SEC primary.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Ohio Gov. John Kasich are in their own fierce competition to be the mainstream alternative to Trump and Cruz. Kasich spent Tuesday in metro Atlanta, while Rubio is also set to make a campaign stop in Cobb on Saturday.
