Be prepared: President Barack Obama's Atlanta visit today promises to be a traffic nightmare, with a departure scheduled for evening rush-hour.

Air Force One is scheduled to arrive at Hartsfield-Jackson airport at 12:15 p.m. He speaks at Georgia Tech at 1:30 p.m.

Obama, we hear, is making another east side stop after Tech, before heading to downtown Atlanta to the Hyatt Regency for a Democratic National Committee function at 4:30 p.m. Air Force One is scheduled to depart at 6:05 p.m.

Keep in mind that in the past, the Secret Service has completely shut down the Downtown Connector for the presidential motorcade. So it's best to avoid that area anytime close to when POTUS is on the move.
