President Obama is coming to Georgia Tech

March 6, 2015
President Barack Obama will visit Georgia Tech on Tuesday to give a speech and later attend a fundraiser to raise money for the Democratic National Committee.

The White House announced the trip this afternoon, saying only that he will deliver remarks at a Tech event that will be open to students. (If you're a student you can find  ticket information here for the visit to McCamish Pavilion.)

It's part of a southern swing that brought him to Columbia, S.C., on Friday  visiting a historically black college   and Alabama on Saturday for   the Selma festivities .

Stay tuned for AJC coverage on the latter event over the weekend. The Insider's own Daniel Malloy will be there.
