New poll: 84 percent of Georgia voters want to decide casino issue themselves

Backers of a proposed constitutional amendment to allow casinos in Georgia are out with a fresh poll that says an overwhelming number of Georgia voters want to be able to settle the issue themselves. From the polling memo:

Even 84% of those who would vote "no" on the measure want Georgia voters rather than the legislature to decide the issue.

Before being placed on the November ballot, the measure first must achieve a two-thirds majority in both the House and Senate. Read the entire memo here:
