Michelle Nunn gets star power help from singer Carole King

Democrat Michelle Nunn's Senate campaign is getting a boost from Carole King.

The Nunn camp tells us that the Grammy award winning singer and songwriter is in town to do some charity work with the candidate and later host a fundraiser on her behalf. It's the latest stop on King's Democratic circuit - earlier she stumped for Sen. Kay Hagan's re-election campaign in North Carolina.

Her arrival has also attracted attention from Republicans, who eagerly note King's background as an environmental activist. One sent along this video offering a taste of her views on climate change:
