Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is returning to Atlanta next week for a meet and greet with Georgia supporters.
The event will be held in Buckhead on Monday morning, but details are still being hashed out. It's one of several visits Rubio has made to Georgia as he tries to stand out among the 16 GOP candidates seeking the presidential nomination.
Rubio told thousands of activists at the state's GOP convention in May that he would pursue a more muscular foreign policy to counter growing international threats. And he gave a decidedly sunny speech in August to conservative activists at the RedState Gathering in Atlanta.
No word on whether Rubio will be bringing the pigskin with him this time around.
