Democrat Jim Barksdale is sending a clear message with yet another new staff hire in his run against Republican U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson: Populist-minded Bernie Sanders supporters are welcome.
His latest hire is Symone D. Sanders, a 25-year-old who was Bernie Sanders' national press secretary and the chief spokeswoman for his campaign.
