Apparently, Ebenezer Scrooge lives in Atlanta. And he's no fan of the city's bid for Amazon's second headquarters.

Scrooge gives his best "bah humbug" to our capital city in a video released over the weekend by Georgia's economic development arm. In it, he maligns Atlanta's most sacred treasures and gives wayward Beltline wanderers the ninth degree - before a Dickensian turnaround.

"Nothing would be worse than Amazon coming here," Scrooge growls. "Why move to a city this terrible?"

Of the Georgia Aquarium: "Look at this overgrown fish tank they call an aquarium."

Of Ponce City Market: "They even took a perfectly good abandoned building and turned it into a vibrant community."

Of Coca-Cola: "A barely sippable drink."

Tongue planted firmly in cheek, the video is Georgia's latest bid to catch attention from Amazon as it seeks a home for its $5 billion second headquarters. It's a full-court press that has swept up Gov. Nathan Deal, outgoing Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and his successor, Keisha Lance Bottoms.

You can watch the video below. But spoiler alert: Scrooge has a Christmas Carol-like awakening at the end that has him kissing puppies, frolicking on the Beltline and, yes, handing out Amazon packages and visiting pets looking for a home at the Atlanta Humane Society.
