In the hubbub of the first day of the session, state Rep. Allen Peake, R-Macon, had staked out a corner outside the House speaker's office, collecting signatures for his medical marijuana bill, H.B. 722.

Peak said he was up to 90 House signatures. The chamber has 180 members.
