Mastodon is heading to the sci-fi future. Or maybe not.
It depends upon your interpretation of the Atlanta hard rockers’ new video for “Clandestiny.”
The animated clip was directed, produced, animated and edited by BlinkMyBrain (aka Ariel Costa), who has created videos for Led Zeppelin and Green Day, among other work.
The song comes from the Grammy-winning band's acclaimed "Emperor of Sand" album.
On May 6, Mastodon kicks off a co-headlining summer tour with Primus, which swings through the Fox Theatre on May 16.
