Friday night meant the R5 concert at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Alpharetta — the Los Angeles-based pop rock band features a group of four siblings whose names all start with "R." The odd one out is Ellington Ratliff, fifth R5 member, who's a friend of the family and fits because his last name matches the theme. Disney Channel star and frontman Ross Lynch adds extra fame to the group, and brother Riker Lynch was recently on "Dancing with the Stars."

Here are five things we learned at the Sometime Last Night tour (and watch an eleven-year-old review the concert here).

1. Sparkly mics are in.

Rydel Lynch, the only female member of R5, took the stage alone to sing from the group's new album accompanied by a microphone covered with rhinestones

2. So are onstage picnics (and don't forget the Capri Sun).

While Ross sang straight to fans in a solo keyboard ballad, the rest of the band surreptitiously convened upstage for a picnic — complete with a straw basket and Capri Suns.

3. How to spell F-E-E-L G-O-O-D.

The band had fans screaming along with their song "F.E.E.L.G.O.O.D." towards the end of the set.

4. Ross is a ladies' man.

We already assumed this from his being a Disney channel star, but while performing his cover of Lady Gaga's "You and I" Ross changed the lyrics to what sounded like, "I've only loved three ladies in my whole life, it's my mama and Georgia and you girls tonight." When the audience made their appreciation clear, Ross replied, "That one works every time."

5. Never-ending water fights are key to summer.

After the set and encore were over, the five band members had a water fight onstage that went on — and on — and on. Fans were torn between heading out to beat the traffic and staying to watch band members spray each other (and the audience) with water guns.
