The Weeknd will circle the globe this year on his “After Hours Tour,” which kicks off in June and visits State Farm Arena on July 16.
The worldwide trek follows the release of his March 20 album, also called “After Hours.” The tour will feature “one of the most innovative stage designs to date,” including the “most” LED lights and video for an arena production.
Joining The Weeknd on the 57-date tour are Sabrina Claudio and Don Toliver in the U.S. and 88Glam and Claudio in Europe.
Tickets for American Express Card Members will be available from 10 a.m. Feb. 25 through 10 p.m. Feb. 27. The general on-sale is 10 a.m. Feb. 28 via www.ticketmaster.com. Each ticket purchased online (in North America) will come with a CD of the new album.
To further promote his new record, The Weeknd will perform on “Saturday Night Live” March 7.
