Sting will scale back for his Atlanta show next year.

Sting is taking his new album, "57th and 9th," on the road for an early 2017 tour that will play Atlanta in a surprising venue – the Tabernacle.

The veteran musician will perform at the venue on Feb. 27. Members of the Sting fan club can purchase tickets beginning Nov. 15 at www.sting.com/tour. Citi cardmembers will also receive pre-sale access starting at 10 a.m. Nov. 17. General public on sale is 10 a.m. Nov. 21 through www.ticketmaster.com, www.tabernacleATL.com and by calling 1-800-745-3000. Tickets are $80.50 for general admission (standing) on the floor and $130.50-$174.50 for reserved balcony seating.

Sting will be joined by a three-piece band including longtime guitarist Dominic Miller, as well as Josh Freese on drums and Rufus Miller on guitar. Special guests include singer/songwriter Joe Sumner as well as San Antonio-based Tex Mex band, The Last Bandoleros.

The new "57th & 9th" album is Sting's 12th solo release and his first pop/rock project in more than a decade.
