It takes about three weeks to transform the 350-acres of farm land at Bouckaert Farm in Chattahoochee Hills into the self-contained EDM haven known as TomorrowWorld.

The three-day fest officially kicks off at noon Friday and the pulsing bass won't cease until the early hours of Monday morning.

About 24 hours before liftoff, early bird fans began hauling their backpacks, suitcases and coolers onto the grounds of DreamVille, the “glamping” area that will house about 30,000 music revelers for the weekend (campers were allowed on the grounds starting Thursday).

During the inaugural event in 2013, more than 120,000 fans swarmed the fest; organizers say attendance is tracking at a higher percentage than last year.

The highlight of this year’s TomorrowWorld – aside from a lineup featuring David Guetta, Diplo, Skrillex, Zedd, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Bassnectar, Kaskade, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Martin Garrix and hundreds more --  will be the Disney-esque main stage, a 450-foot wide beast anchored by a volcano that will spew pyro during the DJs’ sets.

TomorrowWorld has expanded to at least eight stages this year and tweaked its Q Dance stage to offer a different musical identity each day (Sunday, it will become the “ATL” stage with homegrown EDM acts including Le Castle Vania, Mayhem, Heroes x Villains and Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame).

Here’s a look at some of the sights to expect this year.
