The folks at Eddie's Attic, who produced last month's Parklife music festival, knew they were ahead of the curve when they booked Chris Stapleton.

His searing set at the fest was a precursor to the eventful night Stapleton would have a few weeks later at the CMA Awards in Nashville where he not only ruled the stage with Justin Timberlake, but nabbed three awards and made many viewers sit up and take notice.

No surprise that his “Traveller” album, which debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard 200 album chart upon its release in May, leapfrogged to No. 1 the week after the CMAs. The album has now sold almost 350,000 copies.

It’s also no surprise that Stapleton’s Jan. 7 concert at The Tabernacle sold out immediately, so a second date has been added for Jan. 8.

Those tickets are $30 in advance and $35 day of show and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 24 through all Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com, 1-800-745-3000 and at the venue box office on show nights.

If you missed Stapleton at Parklife, take advantage of his return.
