Fans and celebs are taking a moment to remember Prince on the anniversary of his death. The singer died last year from an opioid overdose.

To mark the anniversary, the AJC talked with a few Atlanta fans about their favorite Prince memories and what this day means to them. The nearly 40-minute conversation was emotional at times, but it also offered a glimpse into why the singer's fans have such a strong connection to him.
