The 2016 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival lineup is a typically mindboggling assortment of artists that mixes Louisiana heritage with top-drawer pop and rock names.
Stevie Wonder, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Neil Young + Promise of the Real, Snoop Dogg, Paul Simon, Steely Dan, Beck, Van Morrison, Bonnie Raitt, Mavis Staples, Julio Iglesias, Janelle Monae, Nick Jonas, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Lauryn Hill, J. Cole and Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings are a small sampling of the 500-plus acts on this year’s docket.

The fest will, a usual, take place April 22-24 and April 28-May 1 at the Fair Grounds Race Course and feature a dozen performance stages.
The culture of Belize will take the spotlight at the 2016 Cultural Exchange Pavilion, which will feature performances by artists from the country, as well as a curated area with Belizean arts and crafts.
Tickets for Jazz Fest are on sale now at the early bird single-day price of $60; on Feb. 3, that price increases to $65. Gate price is $75 (tickets for children 2-10 are $5 and available only at the gate). Tickets can be purchased at www.nojazzfest.com and www.ticketmaster.com .
