It will be three years since Madonna last visited Atlanta , but the durable pop queen will return Sept. 2.
Madonna has earmarked Atlanta’s Philips Arena as the second of her 35-date city “Rebel Heart” tour, which will launch Aug. 29 in Miami.
Tickets for the Atlanta show go on sale at 10 a.m. March 16. Prices for the show are $44-$359. Tickets are available through all Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
A Citi cardmember pre-sale will begin at 10 a.m. March 11 (visit www.citiprivatepass.com)
Through March 30, every North American ticket purchased online will be accompanied by an exclusive digital download of the “super deluxe” version of Madonna’s new album, “Rebel Heart,” which arrives March 9.
The legendary pop star continues to dominate headlines, both with a flashy performance at the Grammy Awards last month and an unfortunate tumble during the BRIT Awards last week.
“Living for Love,” the current single from “Rebel Heart,” is at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance chart – her 44th time in the top spot.
Madonna’s promotional schedule for the new album includes appearances on the “Today” show March 9-10 and a week of performances on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” starting March 16.
