Lil Yachty will take to the court at halftime during the Jan. 27 Atlanta Hawks game at Philips Arena.
The burgeoning hip-hop star , a product of Pebblebrook High School, was recently named to the Forbes 2017 class of "30 Under 30" and has released a pair of mixtapes, including "Summer Songs 2" in July.
He joins the list of Atlanta music stars who have played during Hawks games the past three seasons, including 2 Chainz, T.I., Jeezy, Ludacris and Gucci Mane.
“I grew up in Atlanta, so it’s very exciting to take the stage at Philips Arena, especially during a Hawks game,” Lil Yachty said in a statement. “The Hawks are really connecting with a younger fan base, so I think collaborating with the team for a halftime performance is a natural fit for both of us.”
The game against the Washington Wizards begins at 8 p.m. Lil Yachty’s performance will be televised on Fox Sports Southeast and streamed live on Fox Sports GO.
Tickets are available now at www.hawks.com.yachty, including an option with a $10 food and beverage credit.
