Yes, we know that Kiss' April concert at State Farm Arena was billed as the band's last-ever appearance in Atlanta.

But just like dozens of faux-farewell artists before them, Kiss decided to add more dates to its “End of the Road” tour and – surprise! – they’re coming back to Atlanta for one final show.

Really. We swear. That’s what they’re telling us, so of course we should believe it, right?

Kiss will play Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood on Sept. 8. General on-sale tickets will be available at 10 a.m. Nov. 22 via www.livenation.com.

Other ticket options: the Kiss meet-and-greet experience goes on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 19 through www.kissonline.com, with the Kiss Army pre-sale running on the website from 10 a.m. Nov. 20 through 10 p.m. Nov. 21. Citi cardmembers can access pre-sale tickets from noon Nov. 20 thorough 10 p.m. Nov. 21 via www.citientertainment.com.

Kiss has announced that the “End of the Road” will officially come for the band in July 2021 in their native New York.

Donald Trump's administration deployed the military to Washington, D.C., in the name of fighting crime, and in an Aug. 11 news conference he mentioned the possibility of military being sent to other large American cities, all of which are led by Black, Democratic mayors. And while Atlanta wasn't included in Trump's list, the city fits that profile under Mayor Andre Dickens. (Photo Illustration: Philip Robibero / AJC | Source: Getty)
