Jimmy Buffett postpones N.C. show for weather - Atlanta need not worry

Parrotheads, and, apparently, their leader, do not like the rain.

Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band postponed its Saturday show at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, N.C., because of “extreme weather” forecast ( projects 100 percent rain and 59 degrees).

The show has been moved to April 27.

Despite the recent opening of his new Broadway musical , “Escape to Margaritaville,” Buffett has retained a regular presence on the road, and will play Verizon Amphitheatre in Alpharetta at 8 p.m. April 17.

But Atlanta fans don’t need to worry about a similar washout. The forecast? Mid-70s and a 20 percent chance of rain.
