Georgia’s Jennifer Nettles and Miss America Betty Cantrell, along with Mariah Carey, Train, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo and Shawn Mendes lead the lineup of performers for the 89th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 26 in New York.
“American Idol” alums Jordin Sparks and Daughtry will also participate, as well as Andy Grammer, Prince Royce, Jake Owen, Trey Songz and Questlove, who will be joined by The Muppets of Sesame Street.
Broadway will get a piece of the parade spotlight, with performances from the casts of the new “School of Rock” and Gloria Estefan’s “On Your Feet,” among other productions.
And the Kenny Leon-directed “The Wiz Live!,” which will premiere on NBC Dec. 3, will use the TV time for a sneak preview.
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade begins at 9 Thanksgiving morning on NBC.
