Get ready for an Imagine Dragons takeover this year.
The band, whose latest hit “Believer” commandeered the No. 1 spot on alternative radio charts for six weeks, will release the rest of the album that spawned the song on June 23.
To support the release, Imagine Dragons will embark on a fall tour that will play Philips Arena on Nov. 7. Joining them are Grouplove and K.Flay.
“Evolve,” the quartet’s third album, includes 11 songs. Those who pre-order the release now through all digital retailers will receive instant downloads of “Believer,” “Thunder” and “Whatever it Takes.”
Those who pre-order the album via the official Imagine Dragons store ( shop.imaginedragonsmusic.com ) by 11 a.m. May 13 will be sent registration instructions to receive priority access in the Ticketmaster Verified Fan pre-sale, which begins at 10 a.m. May 15. Otherwise, fans can register for early access to tickets at presale.imaginedragonsmusic.com.
Otherwise, a Citi cardmember pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. May 16 (www.citiprivatepass.com); AT&T customers will also have access to a pre-sale at the same time (att.com/frontoftheline).
The rest of you, good luck! Those tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. May 19 via www.livenation.com.
Imagine Dragons, which is based in Las Vegas but includes Atlanta native Daniel Platzman on drums, will perform on the Billboard Music Awards, airing at 8 p.m. May 21 on ABC.
