Iggy Azalea fans hoping to see her in concert in Atlanta for the first time since 2014 are out of luck – again. The singer announced over the weekend that her upcoming “Bad Girls” tour has been canceled.
Azalea had an Oct. 29 date scheduled for the Coca-Cola Roxy; refunds are available at point of purchase. On Twitter, the “Fancy” singer said the decision to cancel was “not my call to make.”
Believe me - i was really excited for this tour... and im genuinely disappointed it cant happen this year - The choice was out of my hands and not my call to make. I hope i will get to see you all in person one day. I love you. ❤️
A statement from tour promoter Live Nation cites “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason for the tour’s demise. Azalea’s 21-city tour – her first headlining gig in four years – was slated to kick off Oct. 27 in South Florida, with an Atlanta stop second on the itinerary. In 2015, Azalea first postponed, then canceled, an arena tour that was also booked for an Atlanta date. The singer last performed here during 2014’s Music Midtown.
