As it’s only January, it’s a bit too early to hand out any musical trophies.

But it isn’t much of a stretch to conclude that Kelly Clarkson’s “Heartbeat Song” will still be one of the catchiest of the year come December.

The soaring chorus – a Clarkson trademark – and the song’s polished groove coated in just the right amount of synths point to instant hit-dom.

“Heartbeat Song” is produced by Greg Kurstin and will be on Clarkson’s upcoming album, “Piece By Piece,” her first album since 2013’s Christmas outing, “Wrapped in Red.”

Donald Trump's administration deployed the military to Washington, D.C., in the name of fighting crime, and in an Aug. 11 news conference he mentioned the possibility of military being sent to other large American cities, all of which are led by Black, Democratic mayors.
