Of the many activities accompanying the Atlanta Braves' Hank Aaron Heritage Weekend , the musical component is reserved for MC Hammer.

Don’t laugh – there is actually a connection to the baseball great. A young Hammer worked as a bat/ball for the Oakland Athletics and entertained fans during game breaks with dances that earned him the nickname “Hammer” because of his resemblance to “Hammerin’” Hank Aaron.

Mr. “Can’t Touch This” will perform following Saturday’s game at SunTrust Park between the Braves and Cincinnati Reds (first pitch is at 7:10 p.m.).

The performance is free for ticketholders. If you haven't purchased a game ticket yet and you want to get a closer view of those pop culture-ingrained dance moves a field pass ticket package is available, which includes a ticket to the game and a pass to watch the performance from the field. Click here for details.

Fans who already have a game ticket and still want to get on the field for Hammer's show can purchase the field pass for $10. Visit www.ticketmaster.com to purchase.
