Gorillaz will make a rare Atlanta concert appearance this fall

The last time Gorillaz ventured to North America in 2010, Atlanta was not part of the itinerary.

But come October, fans of the cartoon band masterminded by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett will be able to experience Gorillaz live at Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth.

Tickets for the Oct. 11 concert are $43.75-$93.75 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. April 21 at, the arena box office or by calling 770-626-2464.

The band will release its new album, “Humanz,” on April 28, and those who purchase a concert ticket will receive a choice of a physical or digital copy of the release.
