Elvis Costello will release his memoir, “Unfaithful Music & Disappearing Ink,” on Oct. 13.

A few days later, he will come to Atlanta to talk about the book and have a conversation with Chuck Reese of The Bitter Southerner.

This intimate gathering will occur at 8 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Variety Playhouse. Tickets are required and cost $32 ($35 the night of the show – if there are any left). Admission includes a signed, first edition of Costello’s book.

If you can't make the event but still want to purchase a signed copy of "Unfaithful Music…" you can pre-order it here from A Capella Books for $28.95.

Tickets for the Variety Playhouse gathering are on sale at 10 a.m. June 19.

Costello will visit Atlanta earlier when he performs at Chastain Park Amphitheatre with his Imposters, sharing a bill with Steely Dan.
