Drake surprised fans overnight with "Dark Lane Demo Tapes," a collection of what he called "some leaks and some joints from SoundCloud and some new vibes" in an Instagram post to announce the release.

Drake credited brand manager Oliver El-Khatib and engineer Noel Cadastre with putting the songs together for digital release (check it out here).

The 14-tracks include guest appearances from Atlanta’s Future, Playboi Carti and Young Thug, as well as Chris Brown and Giveon.

Drake gave fans another piece of good news in his post- his sixth studio album – "Lucky number 6," he said – will arrive this summer. It will be Drake's first official release since 2018's "Scorpion," which he backed that year with a tour that wrapped with three shows in Atlanta.
