Drake is already preparing for a big summer with the impending release of his “Views from the 6” album later this week and now the announcement of a 30-plus date tour.

The "Summer Sixteen" tour will feature Atlanta rapper Future (and "special guests" not yet named) and visit Atlanta at 7 p.m. Aug. 25 at Philips Arena.

The “Hotline Bling” singer will launch the tour July 20 in Austin, Texas.

Tickets for the Atlanta show are $49.50-$179.50 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. A pre-sale for American Express cardholders begins at 10 a.m. April 26. There is a six-ticket limit per purchase. Tickets can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com, www.livenation.com, the venue box office and by calling 1-800-745-3000.

Drake performed in Atlanta last fall as one of the main stage headliners at Music Midtown.
