[Congrats to our first winner, Charndrea L. And keep checking the blog every day for more holiday giveaways!]

Welcome to the kickoff of the 12 Days of Christmas giveaway.
Here is how this works: Every day leading up to Christmas, I’ll post a prize. Might be concert tickets. Might be Broadway in Atlanta tickets. Might have something to do with “The Hunger Games.” You’ll just have to keep checking.
It is imperative that you follow the guidelines about submitting your entries and the time frame in which to do so.
There are no prerequisites to win, but if you use Facebook and/or Twitter , I would greatly appreciate a follow.
So let’s get rolling.
My Day 1 giveaway is a pair of tickets to the “Affordable Old School Music Festival” coming to Philips Arena on New Year’s Eve.
The show is a parade of old-school R&B stars, including the Isley Brothers, Morris Day, Mint Condition, Jeffrey Osborne, Dru Hill and comedian Griff and kicks off at 8 p.m. Dec. 31.
Thanks to promoter J.D. Entertainment for providing the tickets.
To enter to win, just zip me an email at mruggieri@ajc.com  –  please put Day 1 in the subject field  – by 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15. Seriously, if you put anything other than Day 1 in the subject field, it won't be entered when I sort the emails and you will have zero chance of winning. I will randomly select a winner and post the name on that day’s blog entry.
If you would like to purchase tickets to the concert, they’re $29-$129 and can be purchased here .

Good luck!
