Believe it or not, it’s time to start planning for next year’s plethora of music festivals.
CounterPoint Music and Arts Festival will return to Kingston Downs in 2015, but the event shifts from April to May. The three-day gathering will take over the 5,000-acre area near the Etowah River during Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-24.
Additional details – such as ticket sales and artists – will be announced soon.
Last year, CounterPoint relocated to the spot about 60 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta (near Rome) with a lineup that boasted the first Georgia show for Outkast, as well as Pretty Lights, Foster the People, STS9, J. Cole, Janelle Monae, Major Lazer, Krewella, Big Gigantic, Sleigh Bells, Chance the Rapper performing on five stages.
Previously, CounterPoint had been held on Bouckaert Farm in Chattahoochee Hills, a space that now hosts the TomorrowWorld EDM festival, which took place for its second year the last weekend of September.
