There will be a new look at Chastain Park Amphitheatre this season. And those renovations, which began at the end of the 2017 , mean a slightly later start to the 2018 series.

The first show at the venue will be John Fogerty and ZZ Top on June 6. Following that double bill, Robert Plant and the Sensational Shape Shifters , Harry Connick Jr., 3 Doors Down with Collective Soul , Indigo Girls and lots of '80s performers are among the acts who will contribute to a busy summer.

Subscription tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. March 23 at www.chastainseries.com and by calling 404-233-2227. Series and mini-series tickets will be available until March 30.

In addition to the new box seats, upgraded concessions and restrooms and expanded plaza area, there are also a couple of new policies at Chastain: Coolers must be 23” wide and 16” deep and must be kept under seats to keep the aisles clear. Only one cooler per table will be permitted and glass of any kind will not be allowed into the amphitheater.

The Indigo Girls will take their tunes outside.
