CeeLo Green is going old school for his upcoming tour dubbed “The Love Train.”

The Atlanta soul singer, who recently released his fifth studio album, "Heart Blanche," will kick off an 11-stop tour March 1 in D.C. and swing through his hometown at 9 p.m. March 3 with a show at Terminal West. Tickets are $35-$40 and available at www.TicketFly.com.

At his shows, Green plans to pay tribute to the artists who inspired him, such as Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Ike and Tina Turner and B.B. King, as well as play his own material.

Green will also take fans “back in time through music, wardrobe and the bespoke, southern setting at these hand-picked, landmark venues.”

“I look forward to hitting the road to celebrate great music of the South, and reconnecting with all my loyal fans,” Green said in a statement. “Come dressed for the occasion and help me re-create a moment from history at these iconic music venues.”

Green will also perform after the Dec. 26 Atlanta Hawks game at Philips Arena.
