The Candler Park Music & Food Festival returns June 2-3 with a weekend of music featuring Joe Russo's Almost Dead, Railroad Earth, Lake Street Dive, Matisyahu, The Motet and others.

The festival, which began eight years ago, has “grown to be a truly relevant Atlanta affair,” said Josh Antenucci, festival producer and Rival Entertainment partner.

Along with the musical lineup, the event will offer more than 20 food trucks and local restaurant vendors, adult field games by Atlanta Sport & Social Club and the Terrapin Draft Lounge offering a selection of rare Terrapin brews. On June 3, a morning 5k race will benefit Atlanta ContactPoint.

Tickets for the all-ages fest are $25 for general admission and $80 for VIP and can be purchased at www.candlerparkmusicfestival.com. Children under 12, accompanied by an adult ticketholder, do not require tickets.

A portion of festival proceeds will benefit City of Atlanta parks and Candler Park community organizations. Last year, according to Antenucci, the event’s philanthropy fund topped $28,000.
