The 11th year of the Candler Park Music & Food Festival will spotlight 10 musical performances, including Dispatch, Greensky Bluegrass, Dr. Dog, Trampled by Turtles, Stephen Marley, Larkin Poe, Funk You, Aqueous and Webster.

The two-day event will take place in Candler Park. Gates will open at 4 p.m. May 31 and noon June 1. Tickets for the weekend are $40 for general admission and $150 for VIP (21 and older only). Admission is free for children under 12 accompanied by an adult ticketholder. Advance purchase is recommended at www.candlerparkmusicfestival.com. A portion of the festival proceeds will support philanthropic beneficiaries to be identified.

In addition to music, the festival, which is expected to draw about 20,000, will offer a food village, artist market, adult field games and the Terrapin Brew Lounge.

On April 20, the Terrapin Beer Co. will host the annual Battle of Bands, where acts will compete for the opening slot on May 31 at the festival. Visit www.terrapinbeer.com for details.
