Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band rolled into town in January 2015 with a trove of sturdy rockers and rough-edged charm.
This fall, Seger, 72, will thunder through again with his “Runaway Train” tour.
The two-dozen date run includes an 8 p.m. Oct. 7 performance at Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth, scene of his last area performance. Tickets are $99-$119 and will go on sale at noon June 9. Tickets can be purchased at www.infiniteenergycenter.com, the arena box office or by calling 1-770-626-2464.
Members of the Bob Seger fan club will have advance access to tickets at 10 a.m. June 6 (to become a Bullet Club member, visit www.bobseger.com).
Seger’s “Greatest Hits” collection, which arrived in 1994 with nuggets including “Against the Wind,” “We’ve Got Tonight” and “Like a Rock,” was just this week certified Diamond by the RIAA, with sales of 10 million copies.
