Bob Seger has been forced to postpone a series of upcoming tour dates, including his sold-out Saturday performance at Infinite Energy Arena.

The singer said Tuesday afternoon that his doctor has ordered him to attend to an “urgent medical issue” concerning his vertebrae.

Seger performed at a sold-out show in Pittsburgh last week, but postponed his Sept. 30 concert in Columbus.

Rescheduled dates will be announced soon; previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new dates.
